A Wedding Dress Made Of A Thousand Paper Leaves

Latvian fashion design students Dana Jasinkevica and Dita Enikova have created an astounding wedding dress with a thousand paper leaves.

Made for a fashion exhibition in Riga, the dress resembles the exotic plumage of a tropical bird—the designers have also re-invented the traditional, pure white wedding dress by splattering their paper gown with paint.

Originally presented on a mannequin, the dress is worn by a real model for a photo shoot entitled “Swan in Oil.Before and After”, which shows how surprisingly wearable the dress is.
