A Gorgeous Typeface For Nike, Made Of Curled Up Wooden Strips

Bilbao-based Spanish graphic designer Txaber has created a beautiful custom typeface for sportswear brand Nike that is built with wooden strips.

Composing Nike’s famous swoosh and slogan with layers of wood slats, the logo and letters are created flat and look relatively normal at first.

The designer then adds a wonderful textural element to his work by curling the top-most layer of wooden strips, adding a fascinating added dimension to the typography.
