‘And Now A Word From Our Sponsor’ is a new indie flick that features tons of cliché advertising slogans.

The protagonist is a CEO of a major advertising agency, Adan Kundle (played by Bruce Greenwood), who’s discovered unconscious in front of a wall of televisions.

When he wakes up in a hospital, Kundle can only speak in slogans; he also meets Karen Hillridge (played by Parker Posey), the hospital’s Head of Charity Foundation, who’s had a past history with Kundle.

Hillridge brings Kundle home while waiting for long-term care placement, but slowly uncovers Kundle’s relationship with Lucas Foster (played by Callum Blue), the president of the ad agency Kundle owns, who’s trying to take over the agency.

We’re not sure how well the movie would be nor how the use of overdone slogans would play out, but it’s an interesting take on advertising in the film industry—what do you think?

The movie debuts in theaters on 10 May 2013.
