France-based photographers Metra Bruno and Laurence Jeason are work partners who have created intriguing portraits of people who look like they have had cosmetic surgery done.
However, the photos are, in fact, pieces of magazine photos pasted onto the faces of their models.
The quirky and offbeat work juxtaposes the actual facial features of a person, with one from a magazine. It creates an interesting dialogue of the actual self versus the ideal self.
