Carlsberg Uses Crowdsourcing To Make Happy Hour Last Longer

Advertising agency Konstellation has figured a way to make happy hour last longer for their client, Carlsberg.



Introducing Happy Beer Time, a crowdsourced happy hour conducted in partnership with a bar.



The bars first receive a USB stick that allows them to plug in to any screens they may have in their premises, and this screen displays the amount of time left on happy hour.



To continue happy hour, patrons to the bar must upload a photo to Instagram and use the hashtag #happybeertime and also tag the bar’s name.



Once their photo is uploaded, it appears on the screen and time is added to happy hour. Finally, a win-win solution for all.
