Swedish network provider UmeNet has launched an experiment that lets users experience one of the biggest online frustrations in real life: lag.

Titled ‘Living With Lag’, four volunteers were given an Oculus Rift equipped with a webcam, which fed them a three-second lag display.

They were then made to perform various tasks like dancing, cooking and bowling, but were unable to perform them properly because of the lag.

This experiment was carried out to promote its network services. Would you be able to live with real life lag?
