Mark Zuckerberg Gets ‘Waxed’, Added To Madame Tussauds Museum

From June onwards, visitors to the Madame Tussauds wax museum in San Francisco will get a chance to ‘poke’ Mark Zuckerberg—not the real person, but a wax figure of the Facebook CEO.

Reported by Mashable, the life-size wax figure of Zuckerberg was unveiled as part of a promotion for the museum’s grand opening in June.

Sitting barefoot in lotus position with a laptop on his lap, the wax Zuckerberg has been dressed in his signature hoody and jeans.

It was reported that the figure took 20 artists three to four months to create, and is a “life-size replica down to the last freckle”. Even the hair is real, which was inserted by hand, one strand at a time.

Because Zuckerberg wasn’t available for a sitting, the artists had to create the figure using only photos of the Facebook CEO.

The San Francisco Madame Tussauds museum will officially open on 26 June. Does the wax figure look exactly like Mark Zuckerberg?
