When popular website Brainpickings celebrated its 7th birthday, its creator Maria Popova wrote an insightful and inspiring piece about the seven lessons she has learned in seven years of “reading, writing and living”.
The team at Holstee has recently collaborated with Popova to produce a lovely illustrated letterpress poster that pays tribute to this list of tips for living well.
Including wise words such as “Allow yourself the uncomfortable luxury of changing your mind.” and “Build pockets of stillness into your life.”, each of these seven lessons comes with a short paragraph of elaboration.
Designed in collaboration with Uruguayan design studio Mundial, this poster is letterpress printed in Los Angeles with “archival quality non-toxic inks on tree-free cream-colored cotton paper”—you can purchase it here.
